Play as Fini in this third person investigative mystery. Use your appearance as a priest—and your experience as an opium addict—to infiltrate Hong Kong's hidden spaces. But be careful, your judgement isn't as reliable as you, or Xiao, thinks. Fini's withdrawals are degrading the world he's trying to discern (spoiler: it’s not SFX) Can you trust what you hear people say? Can you trust who they are? Can you trust a talking cat?

Explore a dramatic vision of British-ruled Hong Kong. A global merchant economy fuels a bustling Victoria Harbor's ship docks. Witness a modernizing city as the Star ferry, funicular tram and gas lighting change how this sprawling island colony is perceived. Navigate the local Han, assimilating British, as well as Manchu, Sikh and foreign migrants that call this diverse city their home. What fractures of your family's history are revealed in this place? What factors of empire, imperialism, greed, faith, and vice will guide Fini on his journey.

Question the people who knew his father’s world. Inspect objects, follow clues, and discover where the legacy of a jade ring leads in this third-person investigation and mystery adventure.

Some encounters feel too convenient. Some faces seem to belong to another time. As Fini struggles with his addiction, separating what he discovers from what he believes becomes increasingly difficult.

Xiao is by your side—and provides your moral compass. Curious, suspicious and deadpan, your catnip comrade rarely keeps his opinions to himself. But, how much can you trust a cat not to lead you astray? How much does Xiao know that he's not telling you?
