A starbase has you in its sights. Its turrets are still firing, and a guided missile is closing in. Shoot the missile down, knock out the relay and take your shot when the core opens.

AstroKicker is a top-down arcade space shooter. Pilot the Mk19 through 100 fields of mines, asteroids and enemy squadrons. Collect weapons and upgrades as you fight. Save your Nova for a crowded field, or start a mine chain and let the blast reach the turret for you.

Choose how you fly. Modern gives you free-direction flight and detailed 3D ships. Retro snaps turns to eight directions and presents the fight in arcade pixels. Both modes run through the 100-field campaign with four difficulty settings.

Earn the next field. Build up your fighter over the campaign and carry earned equipment into eligible level starts. The final six fields put pursuit, interception and demolition to the test. Set a clean time on Level 99, then race your own ghost in the same mode and difficulty.

Follow the mission at your pace. Watch or skip the story films as you fly, then revisit earned films and records in the Intel archive. Choose a control preset or set up your own bindings.

Try a Flight Challenge. Bait a guided missile into a rock, take out a fighter, mine and turret with one Nova, or clear the final six fields on one ship. There are 24 new Steam achievements to chase.
